In 2000, Mist&Cool™ ME Corporation was founded to promote Outdoor Cooling and Air Conditioning Products in the Southern European, and Middle Eastern Areas. The company can be characterized as the leader in the concept, implementation and manufacture of Outdoor Cooling and Air Conditioning Systems.

For many years, people have build beautiful, outdoor areas at significant expense, such as swimming pools, villas, public parks etc and have not been able to use these areas in summer because of it is too hot to sit outdoors.

In the region the market has proven to be wide open for this technology. In the U.S 10 years ago when this technology was first marketed there was not one system used. Today investment in these systems runs to billions of dollars in only the states of California, Arizona and Nevada.

The technology was developed by a California based company, which has a strong commitment to quality, reliability and design. They provide a wide range of patented cooling and misting solutions particularly suited to the Middle East. The systems were chosen to provide cooling at the Atlanta Olympic Games and the grand mosque in Mecca.

The technology uses the principles of thermal dynamics where clean water is forced at pressure through a series of patented brass stainless steel and Teflon nozzles to create an ultra fine mist. When this fine mist hits the surrounding air it flash evaporates removing unwanted heat. The process is further enhanced by incorporating specially designed high-pressure pumps that are capable of delivering very high pressure at a very low flow rates. This atomises the mist making them into small micro drops.

The result is a decrease of up to 15 degrees centigrade, which is significant for countries like the gulf. The Mist and Cool concept was around for some time. The patent holders have redefined an old principle and made systems one hundred times more efficient using modern technology.
